Acemagic used IFA 2026 in Berlin to introduce the F9A, a mini-workstation built around AMD’s new Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor, one of the first commercial products to ship with the chip. The system pairs a 16-core, 32-thread “Zen 5” processor with Radeon 8060S integrated graphics and up to 192GB of LPDDR5X memory, packed into a chassis measuring 158.5 x 158.5 x 81.5mm, a footprint of roughly two litres. Acemagic is showing the F9A at Booth 128 in Hall 6.2 of Messe Berlin, where IFA runs from 4 to 8 September 2026.

What the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 brings to the F9A

The Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 is AMD’s top-tier “Gorgon Halo” APU, and its defining feature is unified memory that the system can hand over almost entirely to the integrated GPU for local AI work. Acemagic’s F9A tops out at 192GB of LPDDR5X-8533, fast enough to keep large language models resident without falling back to a discrete GPU. Storage runs through a single M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, with support for drives up to 4TB. The CPU boosts to 5.2GHz across its 16 cores.

That combination is aimed at people who want to run large models on a desk rather than in a data centre, covering language models, image generation and other workloads that would otherwise need a discrete GPU with its own dedicated memory. Acemagic joins a small but growing list of vendors building compact workstations around large unified-memory pools, alongside machines such as Asus’s ProArt P14 with RTX Spark and 128GB of RAM.

Minisforum ships the same chip in two more systems

Acemagic is not alone in adopting the chip. Minisforum used the same show to launch two products on the identical Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 platform: the MS-S1 MAX-P495 mini-workstation and the AI Agent NAS N5 MAX-P495, an upgrade to its existing NAS line. Both claim up to 131 TOPS of AI compute, up to 192GB of unified memory at 8533 MT/s, and the option to assign up to 160GB of that pool as graphics memory. The NAS variant adds room for up to 200TB of local storage, aimed at running AI agents against a large local dataset rather than just serving files.

Three products from two manufacturers landing around a single new AMD processor in the same week says more about AMD’s platform push than about any one machine. The PRO 495 is clearly being positioned as the chip for local AI hardware in 2026, and OEMs are moving fast to be first with it.

Where outlets disagree on the graphics silicon

One detail is worth flagging for anyone comparing spec sheets. TechPowerUp’s coverage of the Acemagic F9A lists Radeon 8060S graphics, while separate reporting on Minisforum’s hardware describes the same Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 pairing with a Radeon 8065S GPU. Both chips carry identical PRO 495 branding, so either one report has the wrong model number, or AMD is shipping the platform with more than one integrated GPU configuration depending on the partner. Neither Acemagic nor Minisforum has published a spec sheet clarifying which is correct, so treat the exact GPU model as unconfirmed until one does.

Pricing and availability for the F9A, the MS-S1 MAX-P495 and the NAS N5 MAX-P495 have not been announced. IFA 2026 runs through 8 September, and any of the three products could still pick up a launch date or price before the show closes.
