teqpost is a technology news site for enthusiasts and gamers. For people who read the spec sheet before the review, argue about frame pacing and thermal throttling, and want to know what actually changed rather than what the press release says changed.
What we cover
Hardware and gaming lead: silicon, GPUs, consoles, and the components you actually upgrade. Around them sit the things that decide what your kit is allowed to do, which means gadgets, software, AI, security and the occasional regulator.
How we work
Most technology news reaches you as a press release that has been lightly reworded, with the benchmark chart reproduced exactly as the vendor drew it. We do something narrower. We read every outlet covering a story, work out where they disagree, go to the primary source when there is one, and do the arithmetic nobody else bothered with.
That last part is the point. If an article here tells you nothing you could not get from the original coverage, it should not have been published. The full method is in how we work.
Three commitments
- We credit whoever got there first. If an outlet broke a story, we say so and link to them near the top, not buried at the bottom.
- We state uncertainty. Where a number is a vendor claim rather than an independent measurement, we say which it is.
- Corrections are visible. When we get something wrong we fix it in place and note what changed, rather than quietly editing the page.
What we do not do yet
We do not publish hardware reviews. Reviewing properly means living with a part for weeks and running your own numbers, and we would rather say nothing than pass off a spec sheet as a verdict. When that changes, this page will say so.
Independence
teqpost is independent and self funded. Where an article contains an affiliate link, that is disclosed in the article. No coverage is offered in exchange for access, and no advertiser sees an article before publication.
