About

teqpost is a technology publication for readers who have to make decisions — about what to buy, what to deploy, and what to ignore.

What we cover

Consumer and professional technology: laptops, phones, chips, software, security and artificial intelligence. We favour explanation over announcement. A specification is only interesting if it changes what the thing is like to use.

How we work

Three commitments shape everything published here.

  • The method is published with the verdict. If we say a laptop runs hot, we say what we ran and for how long. Our full approach is in how we test.
  • We state uncertainty. Where we have not tested something, we say so rather than implying coverage we do not have.
  • Corrections are visible. When we get something wrong we fix it in place and note what changed, rather than quietly editing.

Independence

teqpost is independent. Where an article contains affiliate links or covers a product supplied by a manufacturer, that is disclosed in the article itself. No coverage is offered in exchange for access, and no advertiser sees a review before publication.
