Sapphire is preparing a themed edition of its Nitro+ Radeon RX 9070 XT OC to coincide with the release of a new first-person Soulslike action game. It is the second time Sapphire has run this kind of tie-in this year: the last was the Nitro+ RX 9070 XT OC Crimson Desert edition, and this new Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9070 XT variant follows the same recipe, a custom logo across the triple-fan shroud and a magnetic backplate carrying artwork from the game, with the GPU, cooler and factory overclock left untouched.
Sapphire has not put out its own product page yet, so what is public comes entirely from two write-ups built on leaked or pre-release material, and they do not fully agree with each other.
Nitro+ RX 9070 XT specs are expected to carry over
TechPowerUp points out that the formula matches the Crimson Desert edition closely enough to estimate the numbers with some confidence: a boost clock of up to 3060 MHz, a 2520 MHz game clock, and 16 GB of 256-bit GDDR6 running at 20 Gbps. Nitro+ sits above Sapphire’s Pulse and reference-clocked cards in the RX 9070 XT range, and it is the tier Sapphire has consistently picked for these collaboration editions, since the triple-fan cooler and backplate already give it room for a cosmetic redesign without touching the PCB.
A copy of the game is bundled with the card, though Sapphire has not said whether that is the standard or deluxe edition, and neither pricing nor an exact release date has been announced. That is consistent with a card that has not had its own reveal: the cosmetic changes, custom fan logo and magnetic backplate, are the only things anyone has actually confirmed changed.
The two reports disagree on the details
Guru3D refers to the tie-in as Immortal Legacy and reports the game launching on Steam on 14 October 2026. TechPowerUp instead names the developer as One More Level and the publisher as Lyrical Games, and dates the Steam launch to 13 October 2026. Both outlets describe the same card, the same branding treatment and the same bundled copy, but the mismatch on the game’s name and its launch date is the clearest sign that this is still pre-announcement territory rather than a confirmed spec sheet: Sapphire has not corrected or confirmed either version.
That gap matters for anyone tempted to treat either report as final. A boost clock or memory speed lifted from a predecessor card is a reasonable estimate, not a guarantee, and a bundled game’s exact edition or a one-day difference in launch date is exactly the kind of detail that gets locked only once the manufacturer publishes its own listing.
What to watch
TechPowerUp estimates the card will land around 13 October 2026 or shortly after, timed to the game’s Steam debut, which puts a rough window on when Sapphire is likely to confirm pricing. Until Sapphire’s own product page goes live, the clock speeds, memory configuration and even the game’s name should be treated as estimates carried over from the Crimson Desert edition rather than confirmed specifications for this card. The listing, whenever it lands, should also settle which edition of the game ships in the box.
