What the site collects
Server logs. Like any website, teqpost.com is served by a web host that records requests. These logs typically include your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser’s user-agent string and the referring page. They are used to operate and secure the site and are retained by the hosting provider under its own policy.
Cookies. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress sets cookies only for users who log in to the administration area. The caching layer may set a functional cookie to serve the correct version of a page. Nothing here is used to build a profile of you.
Analytics. No third-party analytics service is installed at the time of writing. If one is added, this notice will be updated to name it and describe what it collects, before it is enabled.
What the site does not do
- No advertising networks and no behavioural tracking.
- No fonts loaded from third-party servers — typefaces are served from this domain, so no font provider receives your IP address.
- No comment system, and comments are closed sitewide.
- No sale or sharing of personal information. There is none to sell.
Embedded content
Articles may embed content from other sites, such as video. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that site directly, and the third party may collect data and set its own cookies. We link out rather than embed wherever it is practical to do so.
Email you send us
If you email us, we keep that correspondence in order to reply and to maintain a record of corrections. We do not add correspondents to any mailing list.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to personal data held about you, request its correction or deletion, or object to its processing. Since this site holds essentially no personal data beyond hosting logs and any email you choose to send, most such requests will be answered by saying so. To make one, contact us.
